The task of this part of the Program is to focus on leading self and leading relations, pay attention to context organization exists in, reflect on leading organization and change management.
Personal Strategy
Learning and developing abilities of creative thinking, difficult situations’ analysis through definition of critical success factors. Course consists of several blocks:
- Emotional intelligence of leader and his team
- Personal branding
- Personal development strategy
Personal Finance
Main aspects and tools of personal financial management and analysis to enable effective strategic choices are covered in the course. Intensive analysis of financial management principles is applied to managing own actives.
Business Environment in Ukraine and in the World
Course is dedicated to studying tendencies and changes of modern global business-environment from the point of view of legal aspects.
Philosophy of Business
Course defines key concepts of ethical philosophy, illustrates ways of its implication to broaden view on business-environment and for practical context of participants’ companies. Main objectives of the course are to show quintessence of Kyiv-Mohyla academy scientific ideas, and also broaden perspectives of managers’ vision, illustrate those scientific achievements or concepts, which can influence business world and social relationship in the near future.
International Business
Main objective of the course is to equip you with conceptual basis and analytical tools, which are vital for activities of your company on the global level. Strategies of competition in international environment and peculiarities of Ukrainian business-culture are covered in the course.
Social Networks and Alliances
Creating strategic alliances and other forms of cooperation became one of the most popular strategies of big corporations and small entrepreneurial organizations. But still lots of alliances collapse before their members achieve needed results. Sometimes failure of alliance means complete failure to its members. Course helps understanding ways of creating and managing strategic alliances and partnerships. Main objective is to understand how successful companies develop and implicate strategies and get additional value from relations with business partners.
Business Strategy
Course covers questions of strategic and operation efficiency, strategic scenarios and priorities, strategic maps, balanced scorecard, combining planned and spontaneous strategies. Participants improve their skills of analyzing field, developing strategy of differentiation, defining core competence and profit zones.
Strategic Marketing
Course focuses on understanding modern marketing concepts, and creating, developing, managing and evaluating marketing strategies and programs. Main topics, which are covered during the course: relations between marketing and corporate strategy, concept of product in strategic management, marketing segmentation, positioning and differentiating product, differentiation strategy: creating powerful competitive advantage. During the course informational and communicational marketing strategies will be also highlighted.
Human Resource Management
Aim of the course is to form systematic approach to human resource management, clarify main technologies of HRM, teach how to understand own HR-technologies and how they work, illustrate experience of foreign and native companies regards questions of HRM. Main topics of the course are: HRM system and strategy formation and development, performance assessment and job descriptions development, HR planning and finding personnel, personnel orientation and adaptation, and forming competitive organizational culture, creating assessment system and managing effectiveness and quality of performance, managing compensation, personnel training and development.
Organizational Development
Course focuses on using behavioral techniques in organizational culture, through understanding organization as a complex dynamic system. Organization as hierarchy and social network, organizational structure, principles of forming and managing organizational culture, types of organizational culture, self-learning organizations.
Change Management
Course is devoted to studying nature and spheres of organizational changes, organizational changes management process’ model. Its main goal is to show strategies which help to overcome resistance to changes. Having prepared an individual schedule a Presidents' MBA program participant will join Executive MBA groups.
